DevOps Perth - September Session (Grafana Intro & Fishbowl)

Hi all,

our next event will be held on Wednesday 7th September. Based on survey feedback, the format will be 1 formal talk (topic & speaker TBC), followed by an informal fishbowl session.

Formal Talk: An introduction to Grafana (By Anthony Woods from RainTank)

Metrics are important. They allow us to know how well things are
performing in our environment. Whether those things are physical resources,
applications or people. Grafana is a leading opensource tool for visualizing
metrics to derive insight from the raw numbers being stored. This presentation
aims to give an overview of the features of the Grafana ecosystem and how to get
started.

Fishbowl: Topic & context will be given on the night. Either by Matt, or possibly by a group member with a very interesting DevOps story to share.
