Join us for an immersive hands-on session where you’ll learn to create and manage a serverless website suitable for blogging or hosting documents.

What we will cover:

1. Building Infrastructure in AWS for a Serverless Website: Discover how to set up a secure, highly available, and cost-effective serverless website infrastructure on AWS. Take our design and deploy into AWS using Terraform to automate the infrastructure setup.
2. Leveraging Hugo for Content Management and Deployment: Dive into the world of Hugo, a static site generator, to manage and deploy content for your website. Learn to develop locally with Hugo, simplifying creation and editing.
3. Customising Layout and Appearance: Delve into the customisation options available with Hugo to modify the layout and appearance of your website.

For those coming to our meet-up for the first time, we believe in learning by doing so please bring a laptop with you! The session will start with a short presentation introducing the topic and lead into a one hour long hands-on lab. We will provide an environment for you, so anything with the web browser from this century should be sufficient!
