Details

Note: This is an online event – if you want to join in-person (Edinburgh) go to: https://www.meetup.com/devopsplayground/events/303898039

Presenter:
Simon Hanmer - https://www.linkedin.com/in/simonhanmer/

This Halloween, join Simon Hanmer for a session on ‘Ghosts in the System: Avoiding System Failures with Chaos Engineering’.

We'll be exploring how to use the goblins of chaos engineering to go trick-or-treating through your system's darkest corners. Instead of collecting candy, we'll use the AWS Fault Injection Service to cast spells and identify potential traps in your systems, all before they can jump out and scare your users. You'll learn to knock on the doors of your components, asking "trick or treat?" and dealing with any tricks they might have up their sleeves. By the end of our spooky soirée, you'll have a bag full of insights to keep your platform running smoothly, no matter what gotchas might be lurking in the shadows.
