Internet of Things Hackathon - Morning Session

Details
Personal computers and Internet are now part of our and our kids life. We are now starting to experience a new Internet generation called "Internet of Things" or IoT. Animals, trees, cars, plants, heart monitor and more things are getting connected to the Internet and to do that we need smaller computers that consume less energy and provides the ability of plugging sensors, motors, lamps and other things.
This FREE workshop will introduce IoT to parents and kids using the most popular tiny computers in the world: Raspberry Pi and Arduino. The kids will be able to connect light sensor and LEDs into these computers and command it using a browser.
Raspberry Pi and Arduino kits will be provided for hands-on experience in a shared setting.
Please do not register for the afternoon session if you are registered for the morning session. We would like to reserve space for as many kids as possible. The afternoon session will be a repeat of the morning session for a new set of kids.
