DevRel is a marketing technic that major companies have tried, such as Amazon, Google, Facebook, Evernote, GitHub, etc. They have made relationships with external engineers. Because companies want engineers to acknowledge their services, they want to get the engineer's feedback.
Lately, in Asia, workers who are known evangelists or developer advocates have increased, too. DevRel/Asia is an online community that collects evangelists or advocates, shares knowledge, and communicates with each other. We aim to improve the awareness of DevRel, evangelists, and advocates!
