Talk 1: The Joy of Single Sources of Truth (By Thorr Stevens)

“Zod, the schema validator built for typescript-first codebases and API’s, has gained immense popularity the past few years. But what else are schema validators like Zod good for? 🤔

In this talk, we’ll test the limits of using schema validation objects as ‘single sources of truth’ for things like: Data bridges for our REST or GraphQL API, database modeling, interactive documentation as a side-effect and, when combined with file-based routing, even full-on API code generation.”
