Because devsecops isn't just a buzzword or a magical cure all - it's simply another word for security that works in this new world. Where IT security is front page news, not an afterthought. Where "Agile disruption" is shredding standard practices and organisations, while devops and continuous delivery are fast becoming the standard and not a differentiator.

The evening is going to begin with an overview of devsecops, what it is and why it's needed. After a high level overview of all the different techniques and tools that fall under the "devsecops" heading, a couple of speakers will deep dive into the use of threat modelling to power secure design, and into the unique challenges and opportunities the Docker presents for automating security.
