In an enterprise organisation, such actions quickly lead to out-of-control identities which can be around for weeks or months after an employee leaves, and long-lived keys which can be stolen and used by an attacker, with devastating reputational and financial consequences.

Paul describes 5 steps to IAM Zero – the goal of eliminating all IAM users from an AWS Organization, and preventing their creation going forward, based on recent experience with commercial and public sector organisations.
