The main talk will explore how AI can be a good tool for generating code by analysing existing training models, but how vulnerability detection and prevention may be its kryptonite.

Ever wondered why it's so tricky to keep software development secure? Based on my experience with various accounts worldwide, big and small, I'll share stories, commonalities, and intriguing challenges that go beyond mere codes and algorithms.

From funny (and sometimes scary) real-world tales, you'll see how our human tendencies can either help or mess up a perfectly good security plan.

Exploring the ultimate Gen AI challenge for cyber security: Can an LLM creatively invent new ways to protect or compromise your environments or pipelines?

Protecting data from future attacks isn't always so easy for Generative AI which trains only on existing knowledge. We will use some examples of classic vulnerabilities and attack vectors and pit multiple LLMs against each other in a virtual pen test to see how applicable AI can be in the security space.

Is AI a tool that you can use to prepare for tomorrow's zero days or is it just another script kiddie operating on prior art?
