Dev Together connects people starting their development career with technical mentors through low-commitment, high-value, human interactions.
Recently graduated from college or a coding bootcamp and looking to land your first tech job? Our Meetup events are the 2nd Tuesday of the month. We’re here to support your continued learning while you enter the job market. We believe in in-person events that provide a personalized learning experience and move beyond syntax and the shiny new tech.
Check out the website (https://devtogether.co/) for more info and sign up for our mailing list to be the first to hear announcements!
Know somebody who would like to sponsor us? We're looking for sponsors for our events. Contact the organizer to get more information.
Please RSVP only if you plan to attend the event. We would like to give our sponsor an accurate headcount and space is limited.
Aji Slater will be leading this month's event where we will learn more about how to use React in our applications.
You've taken a few online tutorials.. they told you what to type and you typed it. You might know about reusable components, state & props, and JSX. What's next? Learn form control patterns, one-way data flow, event handling, component lifecycle, and project setup. This isn't about what React is, but about getting an understanding of how it can be used to build working, real-world applications that make things happen.
Food will be provided.
Building security requires an advance list of names for who can enter the building and you'll need to show your legal photo ID. If your Meetup profile does not display your full name, please include that with your event registration.
The Home Chef space is wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, Home Chef does not have gender-neutral restrooms.
As always, all attendees are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct (https://devtogether.co/code-of-conduct/)
