A dive into the Erlang VM by Robert Virding

Robert Virding, co-creator of Erlang, is in town, and we're excited to host a meetup where he will dive into the Erlang ecosystem, with emphasis on BEAM, the Erlang VM. He will be covering some basics and philosophy about Erlang, and then get into advanced topics such as how entirely new programming languages can take advantage of the Erlang platform.

Whether you missed his talk at the TDC or you would like to learn more about the Erlang ecosystem he talked about there, you're very welcome to join this meetup.

No previous knowledge of Erlang is required, and this event would also be an excellent opportunity to learn more about functional approaches to modern challenges such as scalability, concurrency and error resilience.
