Join us for Orlando Web Accessibility Group's first meetup, as well as participate in the Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) on May 16th 2019.
We will be hosting an introductory presentation on Web Accessibility, what is WCAG 2.1, and Who does it Applies to, followed by general Q & A about how to plan for implementing or improving web accessibility in your business.
Location:
This event will be hosted at the Florida Center for Hormones and Wellness (7513 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32819) located on the second floor right above Moon Fish. The meetup is looking for a more permanent place for the monthly events, suggestions are open and welcome.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP early.
Time: 6:30pm - 8pm.
What is GAAD?

About the Presenter:
Jamie Layne is the CEO of Marteknology, and is a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). He has provided accessibility consulting to businesses from all industries including luxury fashion, cruises, retail, restaurants, universities, and software as a service. He helps train and educate developers and designers on how to properly incorporate accessibility into the digital applications to make their businesses more inclusive to all users, and help protect against ADA lawsuit claims.
