This country is fighting to survive gas prices, food prices, people loosing their homes, job loss, low wages, never ending war or wars and very difficult times ahead but what is the focus of the media, the life and times of Eliot Spitzer's hooker and Obama's ministers words. If this is what we want to hear then that is fine but it is the candidates for the office of president of the United States that is the future that our country is interested in and their policies that will affect our future. When McCain starts a military draft (if president) inorder to keep the Iraq and Iran war going, will we care about anything else. It is time for the press and the public to wake up and decide what is important and what is not. It is unfortunate that the public can be mislead by a press that might have an agenda, one way or another, is always a problem but the majority of the press that tries to tell the news honestly is counted on to not mislead or knowingly lie to the country when the truth is so difficult to find now a day! The perfect example of media manipulation is Fox news that calls itself news but is really a branch of the Republican party. A lot of the stories on Fox are distorted inorder to make Democrats look bad and Republicans not guilty! It is up to the public to tell the media that we want to be informed with the truth that is important and not the nonsence that is tabloid gossip.
