Hi Friends,
Thank you to all who have signed up for the Painted Travelers Notebook Class. The class is scheduled Saturday from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and will be held at Panther City Artists located at 7800 Benbrook Pkwy. Unit 8. Benbrook Texas

If you have not signed up, there is still time to do so. As of our last count, we had room for at least 10 more participants so we hope you will consider participating. I have included the class description and the registration link below. The class fee is $20 which includes a supply kit and a $10 facility fee. Traveler’s Notebook Class Description
Join artist, Renee Turner as she leads a session in creating a personalized traveler’s notebook. By the end of the session, participants will be able to apply paint and finishes to Kraft-Tex to create a personalized traveler’s journals. Renee will guide the process of prepping Kraft-Tex so that paints can be layered, distressed and sealed.

Meet the Workshop Leader
Renee Turner, a seasoned project manager and creative director for the fashion industry now focuses her attention on orchestrating mixed media portraits and facilitating the creation of book classes for the DFW Book Makers group. An accomplished fiber artist, Renee now incorporates a wide variety of skills and techniques including metal welding, jewelry making techniques and textile manipulation skills to create a wide array of books and other fiber art mediums. She is thrilled to have traded spreadsheets for textured fabrics, budgets for paint brushes, and marketing deadlines for exhibitions.
