### ♟️ Casual Chess Night — From Beginners to Serious Players
Love chess, learning chess, or playing strong, competitive games? Come hang out.
This is a friendly but legit chess meetup for people who enjoy real games without the rigid structure of a traditional chess club. You can play casually, play hard, or do both in the same night.
Who this is for
• Strong / competitive players — yes, you’re very welcome here. Expect challenging games, blitz & bullet, and opponents who actually know what they’re doing. The organizer is ~2000 rated, and strong players tend to stick around.
• Intermediate players — ideal if you want tougher games and to level up by playing better opponents.
• Beginners & newer players — still welcome. Learning, asking questions, and getting reps is encouraged (no pressure to “be good”)!
How we play
• Untimed and serious thinking games
• Timed games (blitz & bullet)
• Occasional variants (bughouse, 4-player chess, etc.)
• Play competitively or socially — your call
