Plein Air painting and sketching at Historic Old City Park

Let's draw and paint Victorian era houses in the Dallas' Historic Old City Park! We visited this picturesque park last year and there is a great mix of interesting historic era subjects to choose from, such as a saloon, a bank, a rail depot and more, on a well kept grounds.
At 11 am we will meet next to the general store (yellow building) and then at 11:15 disburse for sketching and painting. At 1:30 we will meet back at the General store to share our creations!
This is a great location to bring your full plein air painting setups, whether that is watercolor, oil or acrylic.
Newcomers and first time participants are welcome, we look forward to meeting you!
Special notes:
- Painting is not allowed inside any of the buildings, so if you want to be able to draw inside any of them, bring your drawing / urban sketching materials.
- Food: is not available at the park, so be sure to pack some water, lunch and / or snacks to hold you over.
- Parking: There is a free public lot situated next to the park. Be aware that there is a short walk from the lot to the park entrance along a sidewalk.
