Notice: This Month’s Meeting of the Mechanical Trading Systems group will be held on
Saturday September 12, 2026 - 9:00 AM CST
This meeting will be held in person at Sonny Bryans’s Smokehouse located at 1251 W. Campbell Rd. Suite 240, Richardson, TX 75080. A map is shown below. If you attend in person you need to purchase a meal at the meeting. The room is free for MTS to use if everyone in attendance purchases a meal. We ask for a $1.00 fee from all attendees to cover MTS expenses such as equipment, Zoom subscription, supplies, etc. Donations can be made via Zelle, Paypal, or Venmo.
The speaker this month is Rick Cromer. Rick has created an automatic trading platform for stocks. It uses trading strategies that are server based. These are like the strategies that he has been making available for several years except these new strategies could update positions as often as once per day. That's the reason for the automation. It currently supports multiple strategies over multiple accounts and in accounts that have non-related positions in them. It trades both live and paper trades.
The meeting will be held in person and also online on Saturday September 12, 2026 and will start at 9:00 AM. Hope to see you at the meeting or online. The meeting will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube for those who cannot attend.
