About us
We welcome pianists of all skill levels to get together, play, listen, and learn in a relaxed non-judgemental space. We also welcome all genres of music: classical, jazz, rock, etc. If you want to perform, conquer stage fright, show off what you've accomplished, sit back and listen or just have fun, you are welcome here. We meet regularly at local piano galleries or sometimes in private homes and take turns playing for one another. We also take time to socialize and get to know one another at each event.

Extra Event: Anxiety Workshop

This meetup is a little different: it is a small event designed for those of us who have severe performance anxiety aka stage fright. If your hands shake and your brain locks up when you sit down to play, but you know that you know the piece inside and out, backward and forward, then this meetup is for you.
We have grown a lot in the last few years. When we started, we were lucky if we attracted a hand full of pianists. Now we regularly perform under the gaze of rows of music lovers in a concert hall. This meetup is intended to give those of us who truly need it a chance to work up to larger audiences.
This meetup is limited to 6 friendly pianists, and you can play whatever you want for up to 30 minutes total. I recommend playing continuously until the nervousness abates, but you can break up your performance if that works better for you.

Click for Parking MapPark in the west lot (right side of the building as you face the front door). Security will be expecting you. Use any white parking spot, not the yellow spots marked RESERVED. If this is not clear, ask the service desk. Tell the concierge you're visiting James Caddell in #1110—they’ll call the elevator for you. My apartment is just across the hall from the service elevator.
