We are shelving the long-form novels to focus our eyes on some easy to digest short fiction. This is a turn around from our last few books that were long-form and Nonfiction. We are going to read a new short story biweekly, and meetup over coffee.

Short stories will be pulled from:
The Scribner Anthology of Contemporary Short Fiction.
Get the full book here: The Scribner Anthology (Amazon)

For this first meet (February 4th) please read:
"Sarah Cole: A Type of Love Story" by Russell Banks.
You can find it on page 1 of the anthology.

Here is a .PDF of this short story if you do not want to commit to the entire book:

We’re looking for thoughtful, honest, and potentially uncomfortable conversation. Come ready to express yourself and make friends. The majority of us are in the 25-35 age range. Open minded newcomers welcome.
