What we're about

Hello and welcome to everyone!

DFW Autistic Support Group is an informal group that offers advocacy, support, and social opportunities for autistic adults and adolescents in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.

Though our meetings are focused on autism, allistic allies are always welcome to attend.

We also provide open forums on many other platforms like Facebook and Discord, and are always looking into new ways to support the community!

Feel free to ask the organizer for more information!

All events are free to join, but if you wish to help support the growth and development of this group or autistic adults in general, please feel free to donate to our sponsor at the following link

You can choose whether to support us directly, or support the greater mission of NeuroUnify, which is to provide the right supportive and educational environment to allow Autistic individuals the ability to learn proper coping and adjustment skills and strategies to survive in the modern workforce and sustain long-term meaningful employment.

Practical Support - Navigating Neurotypical Environments

Flag Pole Hill Park at White Rock Lake

Every 2nd Saturday we will discuss a new common struggle amongst those on the spectrum in life, love, friendships, and careers. We will use this time to discuss realistic and practical solutions that are relevant to the autism community, and not the typical one-size-fits-all solutions we tend to find when seeking professional or independent support.

Please feel free to contribute any topics or resources as we will be cycling through member suggestions each time. The next meetup could be based on YOUR suggestion!

Autistic Support Group

Online event

We are a support group intended primarily for autistic adults and adolescents, anywhere along the spectrum, although others are always welcome to attend. We're still doing virtual meetings because our usual location, Central Market is still not allowing us to use their space, but if anyone has an alternative, we are looking!

We would love to have YOU as a part of our group! You are welcome to come even if you have not RSVPed.
