Visualization: An Art of Insight
In the past few decades, information visualization has been embraced by a wide variety of scholars and professionals — journalists, artists, digital humanists, statisticians, scientists, and many others. Visualization can be used as a powerful tool for exploration and discovery, but also as a means to communicate insights to people. However, due to its fast adoption, visualization is also often misunderstood. This talk will persuade you to abandon certain myths about visualization, and will show you how to use it more ethically and effectively.
