Welcome to TC Paddlesports. Whether your a kayaker, Canoeist or SUP'er there are activities for you! This group is sponsored by the Trinity Coalition, the non-profit that manages the Trinity River National Water Trail. Please check out our website at https://trinitycoalition.org/ .
When attending trips please arrive early enough before the posted departure time so you can load you boat and be ready to go. We require participants wear a personal flotation device (life jacket)
All members are encouraged to post ideas for trips as long as they are safe and within their abilities. Please feel free to get involved or ask questions.
Be aware that all participants are responsible for there own safety, if you feel a trip is being conducted in a unsafe manner or above your skill level you may leave the activity.

Cowtown Great American (RIVER) Cleanup at White Settlement Trailhead
White Settlement trailhead, 4600 White Settlement, Fort Worth, TX, USJoin us on the water to grab litter by the horns at the annual Cowtown Great American Cleanup. This year we will be hosting our part of this citywide cleanup at the White Settlement Trailhead at 4570 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76114.
You can choose to participate on the water or on land. Discounted rental boats will be available for those who do not have their own but want to hit the water. If you have your own kayak, canoe, or SUP, feel free to bring it. There will be a party and lunch after the cleanup: Earth Party: After the cleanup, volunteers are invited to join Keep Fort Worth Beautiful at the volunteer celebration - Earth Party!
Celebrate with a complimentary lunch, free music and entertainment, pet adoptions, exhibitors, and the annual Trashion Fashion Show.
Time: Immediately after Cowtown Great American Cleanup, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: : Trinity Park Pavilion #4 (next to Dream Park Playground), 2001 University Drive, Fort Worth, 76107.TO PARTICIPATE: You must register and give your glove size and shirt size by March 20 if you want a shirt. If you need a rental boat there is a link that will take you to the reservation site. Rentals are $15 for the event. Grabbers, trashbags, and T shirts will be provided for all preregistered volunteers.

Stand Up Paddleboard Basics (SUP) Class Fort Worth
TC Paddlesports at Panther Island, 480 N Taylor St, Fort Worth, TX, USStand Up Paddleboard classes at TC Paddlesports at Panther Island in Fort Worth.
If you've ever tried a Stand Up Paddleboard, (SUP), you know it is not always easy to get it to do what you want. This 3+ hour class will cover the 6 basic strokes, equipment, safety, and how to do a rescue in the event of a fall. By the end of the class you will be able to maneuver your SUP with ease, and you will know when to paddle and when to stay on shore, as well as how to rescue and be rescued.
Our teachers are all certified instructors. (PSUPA Professional Stand Up Paddleboard Association)
$65 Includes all equipment: board, paddle, ankle leash, and PFD (life jacket).
Bring sunscreen, hat, drinking water, lunch or snack, and appropriate non-cotton clothing.
The first part of the class will be on land (in the shade). Then we will break for lunch/snack and the second part will be on the water, finishing with rescues.

March Moonlight Paddle
TC Paddlesports at Panther Island, 480 N Taylor St, Fort Worth, TX, USWe couldn’t wait for the first spring Full Moon, so we decided to do a March Moonlight paddle. Join us on the water for sunset and moonlight on the Trinity National Water Trail. Enjoy the beauty of the city lights from your kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. We will paddle into the sunset, then stop and enjoy the colors and fading light. Once the sun is down we will turn on the lights, and paddle back towards the city to see the moon rising over the city lights.
This is a beginner friendly trip of about 4 miles.Meet at Panther Island Beach at 6:30PM. Launch at 7:00 PM. Sunset 7:45 PM. Back at the beach by 9:30PM.

Cottonwood Creek Clean Up
1635 SE 14th St, Grand Prairie, TX, USCottonwood Creek is rarely paddled and often trashed. Come join us on the water as we paddle this creek and help the environment.
This event is jointly sponsored by North Texas River Runners, Trinity Coalition and Grand Prairie Adopt-A-Stream.
This clean up is all water based. If you love to paddle it is a great chance to improve your skills. If you have a boat, bring it. If you need a boat, let us know as their are free rental boats available.YOU MUST PREREGISTER WITH THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE FOR THIS EVENT. You must create a profile and then log in and select Adopt A Stream Cottonwood Creek Clean Up as your event.

Event Details:
Cottonwood Creek off of SE 14th Street, north of Hobbs Williams Elementary, 1635 SE 14th Street. The loading zone will be marked with traffic cones.
Please arrive between 8 AM and 9 AM to prepare your gear. Event begins at 9 AM.This is a water based cleanup.
Paddlers may bring their own kayak, canoe, etc.If you need a free kayak and gear rental, please contact kgpb@gptx.org by Wednesday April 1 at 5PM.

Your seat is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email.PFD, personal flotation device, is required for every volunteer and are provided with the rental boats.
