Pickleball in Coppell - King of the Court (8:30pm-10pm)

King of the Court Format:

• Winners Move Up, Losers Move Down

After each game:

• The winning team moves to the next higher court.

• The losing team moves to the next lower court.

• On the highest court, the winning team stays together as the “Kings”.

• On the lowest court, if there are others waiting to play, the losing team will leave the court and let two of the waiting players play the next game. If no one is waiting, the losing team stays on the lowest court.

• Split It Up (Optional)

• On all courts, players can request a split up (trade partners) after each game to mix up teams and competition, if all four players agree.

• Scoring System:

Traditional scoring to start:

• Play to 11 points, win by 2.
• Only the serving team can score.

Each round, switch to rally scoring for remaining teams after 50% of the teams finish their games:

• A point is awarded on every rally, regardless of who serves.
• Helps speed up game completion for remaining teams.
