“Is it done yet?” “Well, it’s done, but it’s not DONE done.” “How do we know it’s done?” You’ve probably heard these phrases before (or even uttered them). Done. There’s so much in that four letter word when it comes to Agile and Scrum. But often we don’t pay enough attention to the concept of Done, instead focusing on other things like Scrum’s events, artifacts and accountabilities. While those are certainly important, they’re not everything! In this session, we’ll dig into the concept of Done (and by extension, the Definition of Done) and you’ll gain a fresh perspective on how paying attention to Done can help us work more effectively within the empirical nature of Scrum, and live into the Scrum Values in a deeper way.
