I’ve heard it said that our lives are just a dream. Everyone is born into this world, grows through experiences, and then everyone leaves their body at the end of their life. Everything we see, hear, taste, and feel – experience is impermanent. A dream if you will.

We usually sleep for a time every night. Most people have some type of experience while they are asleep. Sometimes our dreams are pleasant, even exhilarating. Sometimes our dreams are unpleasant – to the extreme. Sometimes, they are just ‘strange’. Some people remember dreams, vividly. Some people try to find meaning in these dreams – to understand their own mind’s machinations.
These experiences are still only dreams. They begin, they end.

In the morning most of us wake up and forget completely what we experienced in our dreams to have experiences in this world.

Are you dreaming right now? Do you enjoy the dream you are having? Would you like to wake up?

Meditation is a tool which helps us awaken from the dream – come and meditate with a Buddhist monk. Let’s wake up.
