Timeless Wisdom, Timely Action: Buddhist Skillful Means For a Changing World (Hybrid: In-Person & Zoom)
How can we bring ancient Buddhist wisdom into today’s changing world—with clarity, compassion, and courage?
This year’s BCNY Forum invites Buddhist teachers, practitioners, and allies to explore how the Dharma informs compassionate action beyond temple walls—through humanitarian work, military chaplaincy, social service, and community engagement.
From personal well-being to collective healing, from interfaith collaboration to global responsibility, we will reflect together on how Buddhist values guide meaningful responses to the challenges of our time.
Join us as we learn from those putting wisdom into action—cultivating skillful means for a more awakened and compassionate future for all.

This program is co-sponsored by the Thích Nhất Hạnh Program for Engaged Buddhism.

Speakers include:

Opening: Shinryu Thomson Roshi, The Village Zendo

Speakers:
Bhikkhu Bodhi, Buddhist Global Relief
Rev. Kosen Greg Snyder, Buddhist Studies, Union Theological Seminary
Soosung Sunim, Korean Jogye Order
Ms. Annie Chu, Tzu Chi Center

Closing Prayer: Gegye Yongyal Tulku Rinpoche
