### Event Description

Come experience the joy of moment to moment awareness and find stillness within. Stillness in Motion 2024 is now being offered as an in-person 3 day event. Through daily Dharma talks, meditation, Arts in Chan sessions and group discussions, we will discover the benefits of Chan practice and how to incorporate it into our lives.

If you are new to meditation practice, or have never participated in a retreat, this is an ideal opportunity to begin a spiritual journey and have a taste of Chan. For experienced practitioners, the more you practice in daily routines, the more likely you are to enter a meditative state.

### Event Highlights

Morning and Evening Meditation: Thirty minute sitting periods with guided gentle yoga and walking meditation.

Daily Dharma Talks: offered by David Listen, Chang Ji Fashi, and Guo Yuan Fashi.

Afternoon Arts Sessions in Chan:
Flower Arranging – Led by Guo Yuan Fashi
Meditative Drawing – Led by Visual Artist. Dr. Rikki Asher

Work Practice: A simple task is assigned to all participants, allowing you to practice Chan while working. Being in the present moment brings awareness to the task at hand.
