About us
Dia Logos is a group for thoughtful one-on-one conversation.
The goal is straightforward: to meet curious people, exchange perspectives, and have deep conversations. Each session is designed as a direct 1:1 dialogue with another participant, focused on real interests, ideas, stories, questions, and experiences.
What makes Dia Logos different is that each conversation is centered around a shared starting point: a base text, statement, question, or idea agreed upon by the two participants.
This could be:
- A short passage or chapter from a book
- A philosophical or personal question
- A statement, idea, or quote to explore
- A topic proposed by one of the participants
The organizer will provide suggested options for each session, but participants are welcome to choose or propose their own starting point. The purpose of the base text or question is not to create a formal class or debate, but to give the dialogue structure, direction, and a point to return to if the conversation wanders.
How it works:
Members can join available 1:1 conversation sessions. At the beginning, participants can review suggested conversation prompts or bring their own. They can then connect with others and enter private Zoom rooms for 1:1 dialogue.
If two people want to discuss the same text, question, or topic, they can continue together. If not, participants can return and look for another person who is interested in engaging with their chosen starting point.
Each conversation has a simple center, but the format is flexible and human. The focus is not networking, pitching, selling, or debating to win. The focus is genuine dialogue: listening, thinking out loud, asking better questions, and exploring ideas with another person.
This group is a good fit for people who are curious, open-minded, respectful, and comfortable having a real conversation with someone new.
If you want to meet thoughtful people one conversation at a time, this group is for you.
