Cindy is right! TAKE SALSA LESSONS.

Hey folks,

Cindy is correct! Taking salsa lessons WILL make a difference in your SALSA experience. Just imagine this:

MEN - If you have learned to master the art of LEADING, you will not have a problem with finding someone to dance with! This is very true. Women LOVE a good lead!!! Take lessons and hopefully you will learn how to lead the moves and eventually be good at leading those moves. Leading is VERY essential!!! You will not be waiting on the sidelines if you have learned how to lead well. You will be asked to dance a lot.

WOMEN - If you have learned how to FOLLOW, this will open up a new world for you. You will be able to dance with virtually ANYONE!! Advance dancers that really know how to lead will be able to take you into complicated moves and really have fun! Hopefully you will be taught by your instructor what to FEEL from the lead so you can follow. TECHNIQUE is very important. Many know how to teach combinations but teaching technique is another story. Learn proper technique ladies and the best way is by taking lessons.

Support your local instructors and salsa dance places and events. Take as many lessons as you can afford. Take lessons from both local and visiting instructors. You will be a more well rounded dancer if you take lessons from a wide range of instructors. Travel to learn if you can. If you invest time, money and be dedicated to learning, the results are funtastic!!!! LOL!!! You bet!!!

Enjoy!

Stay warm and have a great day!
