Diaspora Black (D.C. Metro)

Diaspora Black is a community-run group focused on bringing together the professional black diaspora looking for a cultural-infused experience. We focus on things we can learn from each other’s culture from our food, music, entertainment, upbringing and a common understanding of what drives us. This group aims to create a unique atmosphere where Africans and Caribbean’s (Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican, Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia,St. Vincent & Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago) alike can enjoy a variety of fun-filled activities like social events, group trips, concerts and cultural focused get togethers that promises to leave you yearning for more as a cultural escape from our busy day-to-day lives.
