This is a hybrid book club for people of African descent- meeting both virtually and in person.
If you want to delve into the rich and vast expanse of writing across the African continent, please join. We read both women and men authors representing a broad range of countries, religions, language groups, cultures, and eras.
This is a read, please read, you should really read club. Then of course, we can eat, toast and chat. We can also explore events pertaining to the Motherland around NYC.
Open to suggestions as the club grows. No shows are AUTOMATICALLY removed from the group. If you do not turn your camera on as soon as you enter, you will be removed from the meeting. RSVP in advance to attend, change your RSVP accordingly. In person meetings are not likely going to also be virtual. Password for the Zoom is emailed to the Yes RSVPs.
