DIC 500th Meeting

500 times, somebody unlocked the door.
Not because it was their job. Because they said they would.

500 written on a Saturday night. 500 Ah-Counters who nobody thanked properly. Over 1000 evaluations delivered by people who had nothing to gain from making someone else better.

A club is not a room. It is a promise that keeps getting kept, by people who keep changing.

The names on the roster in meeting one are gone. Most are not in Dubai anymore. They never met the members who will be in the room on 19 July. And yet the thing they started is still running, still on time, still welcoming whoever walks through the door.

That is what we are celebrating. Not five hundred meetings. Five hundred choices to show up.
