We are creating a social and intimate meeting of open-minded, intellectually curious and diverse individuals in Paris who do not wish for their brains slowly atrophy in the age of tik tok. 🤪 Open to avid readers as well as those who have not picked-up a book since high school.

The book club will meet once per month to discuss one book:
Modern/ contemporary fiction/ memoir/ or essay collections surrounding themes of friendship, love, desire, longing and grief, moral anxiety and moral extremities, finding meaning and humour in a fucked up world… and more!

Vibe: Joan Didion, Hanya Yanaghihara, Ottesa Moshfegh, Virginia Woolf, Bret Easton Ellis, Eve Babitz, Michel Houellebecq, James Baldwin, Magda Szabó, Elena Ferrante, Rachel Cusk, Olivia Nuzzi etc.

Nothing is set in stone, everything is open to suggestion, discussion, and collaboration 💘

Fill out the form below only if you are seriously interested. Hoping to keep this group small (6-9 people max) as it will be hosted in an apartment setting. Hoping to start our first meeting sometime in February 2026. Open to all, but you must have a very high level of conversational English!
