What are the governments doing for your digital identity

In this next exciting meet up we will hear from the governments themselves what they are doing for our digital identities. Did you know that Estonia is currently one of the leading digital identity frontiers? Primarily because of its highly-developed mandatory national ID card system, that also provides citizens with access to all of Estonia’s e-services! To talk more about the Estonian identity initiative, is Florian Marcus https://www.linkedin.com/in/florianmarcus91/ Finland, which like many European nations has recently seen a large influx of asylum seekers. Their digital money system is using blockchain to kickstart the financial life of refugees, and to talk about this solution is Jouko Salonen from the finish government, immigration service; https://lifeboat.com/ex/bios.jouko.salonen https://twitter.com/JoukoSalonen We are also having a couple people working with solutions for the norwegian government speaking. Leo Sande Gasnier, from innovation@altinn at Digitaliseringsdirektoratet will talk about the "Digital Me" initiative. https://www.linkedin.com/in/leogasnier/?originalSubdomain=no And finally, also from Digitaliseringsdirektoratet is Tor Alvik, who will talk about EIDAS, opportunities forward with nordic collaborations and setting up an EU blockchain node(EUBP) https://www.linkedin.com/in/tor-alvik-4057525 We are excited to see you back again and hope that you will join us in continuing our meetups, where we go into the nitty-gritty of decentralised identities and together drive results forward! 💜👊
