Didsbury Speakers Toastmasters Club - Giving better feedback

At this meeting we’ll be focusing on one of the most valuable skills in communication: how to give feedback in a way that helps people improve without discouraging them. You’ll learn practical tips you can use straight away, whether at work, at home or in the community.

One half of the evening will be devoted to members’ Prepared Speeches and an educational session on giving feedback, and the other half will include Table Topics (our impromptu speaking section), Evaluations, and the presenting of ribbons for the Best Speaker, Evaluator, and Table Topic participant in each category - with a short refreshment break in between.

We meet at Withington Golf Club, 243 Palatine Road, West Didsbury, M20 2UE. Members will be there from 7:00pm, and the bar will be open for you to buy a drink (tea, coffee, or alcohol) and snacks before we begin promptly at 7:30pm.
