Some people - hobby buddies, friends, significant others, lovers - enter our lives and stay forever, or for a while. Others ghost. Poof! Into the wind, never to be seen or heard from again.
Maybe their disappearing act devastated you, or slightly annoyed you. Whether grand or tiny, if it still bothers you, join us to sit with it, play with it, and ultimately change it for the better.
Our time together will look a lil somethin like this:
- Grab some grub or drink
- Hi, hello, how are you's
- Pick one ghosting instance to unpack
- An activity or two to explore and maybe laugh at the absurdity of it all
- Some (optional) shares
- Decide what's next
This is the first of a series of Funner Than Therapy events where we'll dive into personal experiences that maybe aren't big enough for you to go to therapy for, but are big enough to still bother you.
What this is:
- Dedicated time and space to process something that keeps lingering in your head (but doesn't have to)
- A chance to turn an unsavory experience into something useful
- Opportunity to meet other great folks
- Place to both do some inner work and have some laughs - this work doesn't need to be dramatically heavy
What this isn't:
- Therapy
- Formal support group
- An audience to emotion dump to
