ARTIST STATEMENT
BELIEF: There is magic in photography and digital apps! An after before image can be worth more than words! Variety is still the spice of life!
FOCUS: Variations on photographic images, using a myriad of photo apps. Escaping the ordinary with creative licence; with an element of surprise in the digital process. An encouragement for photographers who enjoy unique freedom of expression.
End result: Large format print. Next step: Acrylic interpretation of print.
PURPOSE: Show, share, sell and teach others how to create and enjoy digital art. Especially Seniors!
Specialty: IPad apps..Favourite Subjects: Landscape, Still Life, Portraiture.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Betty Muir, born in Toronto, retired Graphic Designer embarking on second career as Digital Artist. Still designing posters, logos, website imagery, mostly for advocates of climate change..and always finding new material in her world travel photos! Now lives in North York. Organizer of North York Physics Group and CLIMATE CHANGE Toronto, Co-organizer of Citizens' Climate Lobby, Member of ClimateFast, Climate Action NOW, TCAN, New Horizons Band, Board of Directors, Inventors Circle.
