Empowering Patients with Digital Technologies

Digital health products and services are increasingly empowering patients and healthcare consumers. This development promises to improve their engagement and relationship with the health services, health professionals, carers, family members and friends, and to personalise and improve the quality of service they receive.

Paul Guadin, the CEO of Tutella and Dr Umang Patel, the Clinical Director at Babylon Health will be telling us about their innovation journeys, and how they are helping give patients and consumers increased control over their own healthcare. Alex Fefegha from Comuzi will also be talking about human centred design in Healthcare.

Speakers Bios

Dr Umang Patel is a NHS Paediatrician who has served as a clinical fellow for the NHS Leadership Academy and a trustee of Attend, the UK’s national charity for volunteers. Umang has joined babylon from Aviva, where he was the Director of Clinical transformation and responsible for a series of new initiatives in the model of healthcare delivery.

Paul Gaudin is the CEO of Tutella and an experienced healthcare specialist, having spent the last 20 years in the international healthcare market developing predictive health risk systems and services for Insurers, consumers and employers globally.
