10 Steps to 10,000 in Sales. Think you can do it? Actually anyone can do it and you don’t even have to quit your day job.

This is our 30th Meetup (Hooray!!) and as regular attendees know, we have covered all the bases from A to Z to get a business up and running.

But sometimes, you don’t need a partner, or a business plan, you just need a simple idea and a formula to execute it with. This week we will focus on how to tie A to Z together and then break down only the most essential parts of a business into small achievable steps.

What you get from this is the Mini-Startup.

The fact is, it is not hard to hustle your way to your first 10,000 in sales. By focusing on just one product and 10 sales per month, with a 10% conversion rate you already know you will need to reach 100 new monthly subscribers. With this frame of mind, you can turn a ‘side project’ into your first 10,000 in sales.

To get there we will talk about delivery mechanisms, such as automated online tools, that you will need to use to reach 1,200 subscribers over the course of a year.

Specifically, we will focus on a tried and true marketing formula which is the landing page + content + one free ‘something’ for a subscriber. This is followed with 4 emails to the subscriber giving something of value (knowledge, etc) and a final email asking to purchase your product.

The Mini-Startup relies on content from your blog posts or other media to drive traffic. We will break this content driven strategy down into easy to complete steps that should take you about one week to publish the landing page and have content ready to supply.

As always, we will show you where to find these free (or nearly free) tools online to save you lots of time and money!!!

Once you have got this set up, simply put the automated process on autopilot so every new signup goes through the sequence forever.

Also there will be champagne, cerveza and pica pica provided. A small 5 euro donation after the event is recommended to cover the costs of drinks and speakers.
