We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member-supported community that provides high-quality education, workshops, and mentoring programs for digital creatives of all skill levels, abilities, backgrounds, and financial means. We collaborate on projects with measurable social impact, while inspiring each other to learn, make friends, and experience personal growth!
Events fall into 3 major categories:

A simple social event to work on projects and socialize together, all experience levels are welcome to join! Please show support for Honey Latte and MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE FOOD/DRINK. Thanks :)- Table 1: First table is an open discussion group for folks who are wanting to primarily socialize and discuss digital art and other relevant topics.
- Table 2: Second table is a heads down work table for folks who are wanting to focus on getting projects done.

Most people tend to draw or work on art projects, however you can come with whatever creative project you're working on and we anticipate folks roving between both tables. We'll be there at 8am, but feel free to drop-in anytime. We'll be at two of the big tables in the back.- 9-11am Drop-in Social & Work Session
- ~11am: Introductions & Announcements
- Noon-1pm: Wrap-up

Hey creative crew! On Saturday August 30th, the Digital Dabblers will be flocking to the Dabney State Recreation Area for our 2nd Annual Summer Party! Join us for picnicking, swimming, potential bug bites, volleyball, and camaraderie!
FOOD MENU

- You are welcome to bring your own food potluck style if you're wanting to have something beyond the above options.*
*The veggie burgers will also be gluten-free, along with both GF/non-GF buns available. There will also be a GF/vegan dessert option! We will do our best to keep the GF/plant-based food that we provide separate and labeled, but cross-contamination is possible. Please exercise caution if you have severe allergies or celiac!

- BYOB (alcohol will not be provided but you are welcome to bring your own if you are 21+)
ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
- 11-11:30: Party Setup!
- 11:30-Noon: Party kickoff and games/activities start. Daniel may or may not jump in the Sandy river to cool off before lunch.
- 12:00-2:00: Lunch, continued activities, and general merriment
- Mass exodus no later than 3pm! I know Paul might want to continue grilling burgers until midnight but it isn't gonna happen! :)
GENERAL ADDITIONAL INFO:
CARPOOLING
For carpooling, event organizers will meet at Honey Latte Cafe at 10AM. We will aim to be at Dabney State Park by 11AM. We can sort out food and transportation on the group's Discord.Parking is $5 per vehicle and is limited to first come/first serve. Permits are purchased on site (recommend bringing cash).
RULES
- No pets allowed (service animals only)
- Consumption of alcohol allowed by persons 21 and over.
- Smoking tobacco products only allowed in vehicles, in accordance with all applicable laws governing smoking in vehicles
- Please bring a positive attitude, make sure to clean up after yourself and have fun!
This is a free event but if you want to donate $10 to the Dabblers Fund for hosting and to support events like this happening in the future, you can here! Thanks & see you at Dabney!
