Digital DeLand Monthly Meeting

Digital DeLand will meet at the DeLand Abbey tomorrow Feb 15 at 6:00.

The topic is AI and search – comparison and ethics.

The Digital Deland discussion Wednesday will continue the discussion of Open AI and ChatGPT for internet search and research. Now that Bing and Google both include AI capabilities which is better and what are the ethics (e.g. lack of source traceability AKA -provenance) of information access.

We’ll also discuss the whether to cancel or continue the Digital DeLand “Meetup” group. If we want to keep it, we need to find a way to share the cost.

We’ll also discuss future topics, programs, and venues for the group.

Digital DeLand meets on the third Wednesday of each month at varied locations. There is no charge. RSVP is appreciated but not required. The Abbey is our go-to location when no other has been announced, it offers meeting space and excellent refreshment options so please take advantage of their services.
