Whether you’re taking a temporary break, setting boundaries, or exploring a healthier relationship with technology, you’ll find support, encouragement and genuine conversation here.

In today’s world, social media can feel overwhelming, addictive, or draining. Many of us are looking for ways to create more balance, improve wellbeing, and live more intentionally.
Digital Detox Brighton provides a relaxed, non-judgmental space to:
• Share your journey and hear others’ experiences
• Discuss the challenges of limiting social media
• Explore strategies like mindful tech use, screen-free routines, and digital boundaries
• Build real-life connections that don’t depend on apps
• Celebrate progress, however small

☕ What to Expect at a Meet-Up

Our gatherings are friendly, informal, and conversation-based. A typical session may include:
• Light introductions
• A topic of the day (digital wellbeing, habits, triggers, accountability, etc.)
• Open discussion and shared tips
• Optional small actions or reflections to try between meetings

No pressure, no preaching — just a supportive group of people trying to make positive changes.

Anyone in Brighton or nearby who:
• Feels social media is taking up too much space in their life
• Wants to be more present offline
• Is looking for community while reducing tech use
• Is curious about digital minimalism
All backgrounds, ages, and levels of detox are welcome.

📍 Where We Meet

We’ll meet at accessible, relaxed spots around Brighton such as cafés, community centres, or parks depending on weather. Locations will be announced with each event.
