Sketch & Draw from Life – A Creative, Hands-On Workshop
Discover the joy of drawing from real life in this guided sketching workshop. You’ll learn the fundamentals of freehand drawing, including how to observe carefully, understand proportions, and translate what you see onto paper.

The session covers key techniques used in life drawing and perspective, with inspiration drawn from your surroundings — portraits, objects in the room, or elements from nature.
While everyone learns the same core concepts, you’ll have the freedom to choose what you want to draw, making each experience personal and unique.

We’ll provide canvases and basic acrylics. You can:

• Follow a simple prompt (e.g. “paint your perfect Sunday”)
• Or just freestyle and see what happens
• Board game tables - curated by Zürich Fun Gamers
• Join a group already playing
• Or start your own table and we’ll help others join in
• From light, easy games to more strategic ones – you can:
• Chilled, boho atmosphere

Think cozy lights, relaxed music, and a mix of people who are open to meeting new faces in a low-pressure way.

Who is this for?

• You enjoy creative stuff but don’t want a serious “art class”
• You like games but also want space to chat and laugh
• You’re new in town or just want to expand your social circle

Come alone or with a friend – you’ll be mixed into small groups so no one sits alone.
Practical info:

• 🎒 Optional to bring:
• Your favourite board game (if you have one)
• An apron or old shirt if you’re a messy painter

You don’t need to be “good” at painting or games.
Just come as you are, unplug a bit, paint, play, and meet kind people.

Looking for a fun, creative, low-pressure way to meet new people? This event combines playful speed dating with relaxed social drawing at one of Zurich’s coolest bars.

💘 We are limiting the event to 20 people with a balanced gender ratio (age 25-40) 💘

How the evening works:

1. Warm-up: Speed Dating (3-minute rounds)

You’ll rotate through short, light-hearted conversations with different people. No awkwardness, just curiosity and good vibes.
2. Creative Connection:

After the rounds, we’ll all settle at the bar and start sketching.
Every 15 minutes, we rotate seats so you get to meet (and draw with) new people naturally.

Delicious food is available to order at the venue.

You don’t need to be an artist – stick figures are welcome. The focus is on connection, fun, and flow, not perfection.
🖊️ Materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own sketchbook or favorite pens if you have some!
✨ Expect:

• Interesting conversations
• Lots of laughs
• A cozy, creative atmosphere
• A unique way to connect without phone pressure

Come solo, leave with new connections (and maybe a few cute sketches).
