Free Event: The Things Network Norfolk Meetup!

Our second meetup is all about getting onto The Things Network.

We will start assembling our foundation sensor nodes following this tutorial: https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/labs/story/creating-a-ttn-node

Costs will be kept to a minimum, please don't be put off attending because there may be a cost - it will be a maximum of £10 and if you just want to learn rather than own a node that is fine too!

Please indicate if you have soldering skills when you sign up/in comments. We need to clarify H&S policies for use of soldering irons at St Georges', and to speed things up on the night some pre-work to reduce soldering may be performed. (Volunteers to help with this please ping me on the Slack channel).

1. Policy thoughts and update. What open source license should we use to protect IP and allow divergent commercial development. Group communication mechanisms and usage.

2. Building and programming the basic foundation sensor node.
