As the end of the year is approaching, we, too, will hold our final DX Meetup of 2021 on November 17th. With Christian Hansen, partner and co-managing director at schaefer | hansen, and co-managing director of Smart Regio Basel, a fitting finale of this year’s DX Meetup Series will take place.

Our cities and communities are confronted with massive challenges: The climate crisis, urbanization, digitalization, demographic changes – just to name a few. But how do we tackle and solve such problems? Christian will take you on a little journey into the city of the future to find out how we can make our urban centers healthier, more resilient, greener and more liveable with the help of digital (and non-digital) innovation. He will also share with you why many projects are not so smart in the end.

Christian Hansen’s primary focus is the development of more sustainable cities, projects on digitalization, and the development of Basel’s region as a smart city. As an independent consultant, he also supports companies in the field of storytelling and communication.
