November Bookclub: How to Decide by Annie Duke

Details
To help with the development of professionals skills, we're organizing a book club. We'll pick a book and use it as a basis to discuss how the topics reflect on our work.
In November, we'll discuss How to Decide: Simple Tools for Making Better Choices by Annie Duke.

(We recommend paper edition as it makes it easier to do workbook exercises)
About the book
What do you do when you're faced with a big decision? If you're like most people, you probably make a pro and con list, spend a lot of time obsessing about decisions that didn't work out, get caught in analysis paralysis, endlessly seek other people's opinions to find just that little bit of extra information that might make you sure, and finally go with your gut.
What if there was a better way to make quality decisions so you can think clearly, feel more confident, second-guess yourself less, and ultimately be more decisive and be more productive? Making good decisions doesn't have to be a series of endless guesswork. Rather, it's a teachable skill that anyone can sharpen.
Meetup Format
We will start by having a few members share the lessons they learned from reading the book. Reflecting on lessons will provide a basis for discussion. Reading the book is encouraged but not required for participation.
If you want to present your lessons, please send a short message to jure@cuhalev.com so we can better plan.
The discussion will be held in English unless everyone attending speaks Slovenian.
We'll meet on Zoom on November 8 from 7 - 9 pm Amsterdam time.
