Coaching in the L&D Mix

Join fellow Swiss learning professionals as we look at how coaching compliments learning & development, with a digital twist of-course.

Three presenters will talk about how companies & why implement coaching as part of the learning and development mix. These are lightning presentations, 10-15 minutes each, followed by plenty of discussion. We'll have an activity to start, so be ready to participate.

Our presenters:

  Will start us with an exercise and discussion around the difference between coaching, mentoring & training.
• Karin Spoerri (LinkedIn)
  Talks about informal coaching practices.
• Hartmuth Gieldanowski (LinkedIn)
  Will discuss becoming a coach, developing coaching skills, and certification.

Members of the audience are encouraged to contribute questions, answers and opinions during the panel/Q&A session.

Coaches, prepare yourselves! At the end we'd like to invite coaches who work with L&D teams, particularly digitally, to introduce themselves so that people who are interested can find you for a chat. Be prepared with a 20-second elevator pitch on what your approach to coaching brings to learning and development, especially digital delivery.

We will move on to a local bar for networking, drinks, and more discussions.
