Details
Join us for a night of pizza, networking and this month's talk - User Experience with Gareth Dunlop!
This is the last DM Session of 2023 and it's a little different - we're going to be at Boundary Brewery at Portview!
User Experience - Why Are We Still Getting It Wrong After Two Decades?
"I have asked over 2000 people in 15 countries if they have been on a website or app in the previous six months which has made them feel angry. 85% of people say yes, and if I ask on a Monday morning 100% of people say yes!"
Why?
How can organisations still be designing and building experiences which aren't just ineffective, they are disconnected from their user's needs so badly they make their customers angry.
Good experiences only arise from the right leadership, process and culture. If you start with the interface you've already lost.
Gareth will reflect on a lifetime in user experience and highlight what organisations need to do to enjoy the competitive advantage which comes from exceptional experiences.
