AI in Marketing with Ciaran Connolly and John Bustard

We're back with the first dm session of 2024! You know the drill - pizza and networking 6-6.30pm and a great talk from 6.30-7.30/8pm. This time we're joined by two absolute pros in the field of AI - John Bustard of Ulster University and Ciaran Connolly from Profile Tree.

This will be a great interactive session on how it can be used, data on how AI is ‘leveling up’ as well as the challenges it faces ethically. Learn all about prompts and getting more out of AI as well as the AI tools that can be used for Content Creation, Video, Images, Social Media, Audio, and examples of these tools in action.

John is Senior Lecturer in Digital Transformation and principal investigator delivering at [www.MarTech-Laboratory.com](http://www.martech-laboratory.com/), within Ulster University Business. The Lab focuses on the latest technology transforming the Marketing discipline and connects students through a ‘6S Community’ which is Student led and brings together start-ups, social enterprises, sustainability focused and social good projects for deeper engagement with academic and industry specialists.

Ciaran Connolly, Founder of ProfileTree Web Design and Digital Marketing Agency

Ciaran specialises in website and content strategy, working with brands to build their profile online - through written content, video and audio. He is a heavy user of software tools and has used automation and AI extensively over the years to help scale the digital operation of the agency and its clients. From creating written content and images, videos at scale or enhancing websites Ciaran and the team of 30 digital experts at ProfileTree work hard to ensure impact and digital success every time. The agency has a number of internal brands that it tests concepts and strategies on, and this enables him to share with good insight what is working and what is not. In recent years Ciaran has focused more on digital tools to improve productivity and scale for marketeers and companies, with AI tools being part of this opportunity.
