Hanami Coworking & Picnic

With such a rough weather week, this felt like a good moment to catch one of the better spring days instead of waiting for the weekend.
Some of us in the community used to do outdoor coworking sessions with David last year, so we thought it would be nice to bring that back for hanami season🌸

We’ll be working from Kyoto Botanical Garden. It's a place where we can actually settle in and focus, with tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, power, and spring all around you.

You’re welcome to join for part of the day! Just send me a message if you plan to arrive later so we can help you find us.
We’ll take a short tea break in the afternoon. Then, for anyone who wants to stay, we'll continue into small shared hanami picnic/dinner from around 6:00pm.

Schedule:
1:00pm – Start coworking
3:30pm – Tea break
6:00pm – Optional hanami dinner picnic

Notes:
- Entry to Kyoto Botanical Garden is 500 JPY
- Food and drinks are not included
- Please help us leave the place calm and clean by taking your trash home with you
- If you stay for the evening part, please bring a small dish or drink to share
- Alcohol, sports equipment, toys, pets, tents, and speakers are not allowed in Kyoto Botanical Garden
(If some people feel like continuing the evening over drinks, we may move to the Kamogawa riverside afterward.)
